Well, I have to say I'm getting very excited about my trip this week. It's been an entire year since I've seen my sweet baby and I am fervently praying for God's miracles.

I would also like to ask all that are reading this if they would be so kind as to pray for my journey this week. Traveling always makes me nervous but traveling to Haiti even more so.

We will be leaving the house around 2 a.m Wednesday morning to arrive in Philly around 4 am. My flight leaves at 6:15 and I arrive in Haiti at 11:10. Please pray for an uneventful trip!

Also, pray for my husband as he will be driving me and then will be going straight to work with basically no sleep at all.

I will be posting daily and will hopefully be able able to post pics if the internet allows.

My bags are packed and I'm ready to go...

Well, here's what I think I know! We received an email a couple days ago stating that we are in the process of getting Sofia's passport! We're still waiting on confirmation but this means we are super close! My excitement is almost uncontainable.

Our process for getting Sofia's visa may take a little longer than normal due to the fact that we haven't filed the I-600 yet. It's a long story and I have been trying to get it done months but I have just now been given the ok to travel April 1 for filing it.

We're praying God will intervene on our behalf and make things go quickly and smoothly.

So, well see! At least I know where things are and that she could be home soon.

I have an extra spring in my step!

The flight has been booked and it I'll be in Haiti April 1-April 7 to file the I-600! I've been waiting since December to get this done so I'm real excited. I'm hoping to get some confirmation as to where our paperwork is while I'm there. Hopefully it's farther along than we think.

I just can't wait to see Sofia!

Here are a couple new pics of Sofia we got yesterday! She LOVES ice cream!

I'm awaiting approval to travel in the next few weeks so be in prayer that all falls in line! I am need to file the I-600 and I haven't seen Sofia in about a year so I, desperately, need to go.
